Dr. Binna Lee


Binna Lee is an ASHA certified bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and holds licensure to practice in California, New Jersey, and New York. Binna received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College Columbia University and obtained her doctoral degree (PhD) in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University.

Binna has years of experience with both the pediatric and adult populations and can provide a customized approach to speech/language, voice, swallowing, linguistic-cognitive therapy, articulation, social pragmatics, accent management (pronunciation training), and public speaking. She has extensively worked with bilingual clients across the age span who present with a variety of communication difficulties. In addition, she is a language researcher focusing primarily on multilingualism and neurogenic communication disorders (aphasia, acquired apraxia of speech, dysgraphia). 

She has previously worked as an assistant professor in the Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Program at Touro University, and still lectures as an adjunct professor. Prior to coming to Touro, she taught in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University (NYU). She lectures courses titled "Neuroanatomy and Physiology of Speech (Neuroscience)" and "Aphasia and Related Disorders" at the graduate level. 

Currently, she lives with her husband and her two daughters in Fort Lee, NJ. She finds joy in her work and loves interacting with her clients.
